“The Dragon of Rare Disease”
I’m Louis Martin & I’m 11. I have CAPS: NOMID. It’s only 1 in a million, so I guess I’m special. I had severe headaches, vomitting and the pain never stopped. This disease was a horrible beast. Now, I have medication, but the disease is always there waiting to devour me. And none of my friends can really understand because it’s so rare. It’s my faith that helps me even while the dragon surrounds me. Jesus keeps me safe & when I stay with Jesus I find my courage.”
