Day 25 – Wednesday, March 29
Holiness is seek after God every day and allowing Him to consume
us. It is not perfection; we all make
mistakes. Yet, St. Thérèse tells us that
God’s Love can take over our hearts only when we let go of ourselves.
In
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Thank you, dear Jesus, for loving us so much! Thank you for loving us even when we are
imperfect and don’t live up to what you expect or what we promise. Help us to let go of ourselves so your grace
can consume us.
St. Thérèse teaches
us:
“Love
consumes us only in the measure of our self-surrender.”
Lord
Jesus, please help us to not be prideful.
Help us to not hold onto selfishness and getting our own way. Help us let go of our desires so we may see
yours. Help open our hearts and our eyes
to your great Love. Consume us with the
fire of your love, sweet Jesus. We love
you!
Our
Father …

Father, in the name of Your sweet Jesus, of the Blessed Virgin and of the
Saints, I pray that I be fired with Your spirit of love, and that You will
grant me the grace to make You greatly loved.
(The daily prayer that St. Thérèse
taught us to say, adapted for our little lives.)
St.
Thérèse, pray for us!
In
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Today’s Little Flower activity: Let
someone else have their way when you would rather have done it your own way. (Color in a flower for Jesus when your mom or
dad has seen that it is completed!)
