Day 11 – Monday, March 13 - Following St. Thérèse’ Little Way through Lent

Did you know we have so many friends in heaven?  They are the Saints!  St. Thérèse shares that the Saints are our friends and can give us encouragement.  You have a patron Saint too!  We can talk to our favorite Saints at anytime.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, we love you!  Thank you for giving us friends in the Saints! Help us to follow their example and be open to hearing the wisdom they have to share.

St. Thérèse teaches us:
“A sister showed her a photograph representing Joan of Arc consoled in the prison by her Voices. Saint Therese said: “I too am consoled by an interior voice. The Saints encourage me from above, they say to me: 'So long as thou art in fetters thou canst not fulfill thy mission; but later, after thy death - then will be the time of thy conquests'.” – Counsels and Reminiscences

Lord Jesus, your body is the whole Church, the Body of Christ, the Communion of Saints.  Thank you for accepting us into yourself.  Help us to reach out to our Saints and build your Kingdom with them.

Our Father …
Hail Mary …
Glory Be …

St. Thérèse, pray for us!

Today’s Little Flower activity:  Draw a picture and write a short prayer to your favorite Saint.  (Color in a flower for Jesus when your mom or dad has seen that it is completed!)
