Day 10 – Saturday, March 11 Weekend Message (2nd Sunday of Lent, March 12) - Following St. Thérèse’ Little Way through Lent

We will hear about the Transfiguration at Mass on Sunday.  This is a moment where three of the apostles (Peter, James, and John) are able to see Jesus in His glory.  They are overcome!  St. Thérèse teaches us about this overwhelming nature of Jesus and His infinite Love for us!

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, we love you!  Thank you for loving us so immensely! Help us to better receive your great love.

St. Thérèse teaches us:
“Just as a torrent sweeps along with it unto the depths of the sea whatsoever it encounters on its course, even so, my Jesus, does the soul which plunges into the boundless ocean of Thy Love draw after her all her treasures. Lord, Thou knowest that for me these treasures are the souls it has pleased Thee to unite to mine.” – Story of A Soul, Chapter XI

Lord Jesus, thank you for teaching us how to love.  Please send us your grace so that we might love others as you desire us to love them.  We cannot do this without your help, because it is a supernatural love!  Thank you for always helping us to love, Jesus!

Our Father …
Hail Mary …
Glory Be …

St. Thérèse, pray for us!

Today’s Little Flower activity:  Take at least 5 extra minutes in prayer today.  (Color in a flower for Jesus when your mom or dad has seen that it is completed!)
